• Elshamy is A professional engineer with a bachelor’s degree focused on civil Engineering from Ain-Shams University. Ambitious, Self-motivated, Skilled in Root Cause Analysis, experienced in leading the team for goals achieving according to the quality requirements and standards, looking forward to enriching his skills at all his fields.
• Elshamy is an Experienced Senior Manager at EZZSTEEL Group, worked at Ezz Flat Steel (EFS) over 20 years in heavy industries, maintenance and projects as projects engineer and reached to senior projects manager.
• Elshamy is interested in depicting and documenting wildlife and marine life around the world, through the exploitation media to frame aspects of creatures' lives.
• Elshamy brings his passion for documenting the life of creatures to their places no matter how far away they are. Where he searches, observes and records as he explores a new world of pleasure and environmental diversity, His intense attraction to nature and his love for wildlife and marine environments made them his life project.
• Mahmoud Elshamy (Egyptian, b1978) He studied civil engineering and construction at the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, Cairo. He continued to work in the field of engineering and construction, and he learned photography in mid-2014. Moreover, specialized in wildlife photography in late 2014. When he explored his fascination of nature and its creatures. In addition, He became a member of FIAP family "Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photography".
• Elshamy participated in several local and international exhibitions for photography. In addition, awarded many honors and awards. In Ramadan 2017, he participated in his series of short film materials on the Egyptian satellite channel ON TV under the name of (God's creation in Egypt); it is a series of visual clips illustrating Egypt's environmental diversity. He co-directed and filmed several documentaries for ON TV and DMC channels on various topics.
• Elshamy learned to scuba dive in 2017, In addition, He became a member of the International Federation of Marine Activities (CMAS) - Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques and then a member of (SDI) - Scuba Diving International.
• Elshamy has a lot of articles and journalistic topics, and many TV interviews that revolve around art projects, photography and environmental diversity.
• Elshamy is the general coordinator of the exhibition “بديع صنع الله” which held in May 2024 to celebrate World Environment Day, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment and The Ministry of Culture. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, the Head of the Cultural Development Fund Sector, and the Head of the Islamic Antiquities Sector.
• Elshamy is the author of book OWLS OF EGYPT which was released in July 2024, and was participated in the Cairo international book fair 2025.
• Elshamy is the author of book PLOVERS OF EGYPT which was released in March 2025, and was participated in the Cairo international book fair 2025, as the second part of the Birds of Egypt series.
